Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Schneider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victor Rios will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Schneider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Rios! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schneider is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rios sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Schneider drives through with a takedown into guard. Schneider drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Schneider jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rios is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Schneider working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Schneider trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Schneider has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Schneider postures up in Rios's guard and throws a big left but Rios blocks it. Schneider throws a big right hand that misses. Rios looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rios scores with a head kick.
Schneider misses with a takedown attempt - Rios sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rios is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Horrible takedown by Schneider or perhaps it was just good defense by Rios which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Schneider. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rios lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Schneider is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rios throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Schneider takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Schneider shoots in but Rios avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rios lands a front kick. Schneider is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rios. Schneider tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rios swivels and escapes. Rios connects with a high kick. Rios dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Schneider. That did some damage! Rios lands with a nice combination. Schneider backs away looking to recover. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rios's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Rios duly obliges.
Schneider is rocked! Rios throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Schneider colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Rios as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Schneider is left battered and dazed whilst Rios and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Rios!
