Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grizzly Gulag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Dardar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gulag might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to без души. Dardar has chosen Trial by Fire as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Grizzly Gulag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Dardar! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gulag throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dardar's head. Dardar blocks a leg kick. Gulag throws a low kick, looking for Dardar's leg but Dardar calmly moves out of range. Dardar lunges at Gulag with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gulag's hand. Gulag throws a leg kick but Dardar sees it coming and moves out of range. Dardar connects with a crisp jab. Gulag misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dardar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dardar scoring well with a low kick there.
Dardar turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dardar lands with a good body shot. Dardar lands with a nice body kick. Gulag is breathing heavily. Dardar throws a nice outside leg kick. Dardar throws a head kick that Gulag semi-blocks.
It looks like Grizzly Gulag has been cut. Gulag walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Dardar digs a good body shot into Gulag's ribs. Dardar jabs Gulag right on the nose. Gulag blinks but takes it well. Dardar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gulag manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dardar tries to free his leg and advance position but Gulag is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gulag working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dardar. Dardar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gulag swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dardar is pushing down on Gulag's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gulag is fighting to maintain full guard but Dardar has managed to sneak the leg through. Dardar tries to pass to full mount but Gulag defends it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dardar misses with an uppercut. A head kick by Gulag misses and Dardar counters with a series of strikes. Gulag will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gulag looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Dardar checks a leg kick. Dardar lands a glancing blow to the side of Gulag's head. Dardar is looking to slow Gulag down with leg kicks. Gulag throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dardar scores with a three punch combo!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gulag tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dardar looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gulag keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Dardar with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Dardar lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dardar is looking to advance position but Gulag won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dardar is looking for a kimura but Gulag is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dardar to get the leverage. Dardar tries to pass to full mount but Gulag defends it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dardar stalling away here and it's allowed Gulag to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Gulag keeping full guard, as Dardar tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dardar advances to half guard. Dardar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gulag is just riding it out for now. Dardar eventually gives up the hold. Dardar wants to control but Gulag is keeping him busy. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dardar prevents Gulag from improving his position. Gulag trying to control here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Dardar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Grizzly Gulag's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dardar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gulag. Dardar misses with a leg kick. Gulag looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Dardar ducks under a wild hook from Gulag. Nice uppercut lands for Dardar. That snapped Gulag's head back.
A bone on bone clash there as Dardar blocks the leg kick.
Grizzly Gulag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gulag tries to land a leg kick but Dardar saw it coming and moves away.
Dardar throws a low kick but Gulag avoids it. Gulag misses with the body kick and Dardar counters with a slapping leg kick. Gulag is looking to land body kicks. Good exchange - Dardar coming out on top. Gulag throws a lazy body kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Dardar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dardar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gulag moves away. Gulag misses with a kick to the body.
Gulag gets off balance looking for a body kick and Dardar counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gulag's knee momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dardar lands a body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dardar lands with a slapping head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dardar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dardar connects with the punch. Dardar moves into the clinch. A short left from Dardar. Dardar looks to throw an elbow but misses. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Dardar just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gulag's brow. Gulag tries a knee to the head but Dardar blocks it.

Dardar lands an elbow just above Gulag 's eye. Dardar breaks from the clinch.
Dardar misses with a two punch combination.
Dardar looks to land a combination. Gulag sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. This has been an exciting period of action! Dardar connects with a solid leg kick. Dardar cracks Gulag with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dardar drops Gulag with a right and a left! Dardar comes rushing in but Gulag regains his composure and manages to keep Dardar in guard.

Grizzly Gulag's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Dardar drops back looking for a leg! Gulag is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gulag manages to kick Dardar off! Dardar jumps back into Gulag's guard. Dardar tries to free his leg and advance position but Gulag is retaining full guard.

Dardar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dardar trying to control the position from guard on top but Gulag is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dardar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gulag is keeping the position for now.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dardar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gulag thows a leg kick but Dardar checks it and Dardar counters with a left and a right that stings Gulag. A cross from Dardar lands.
Jeez, Grizzly Gulag's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Dardar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gulag moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gulag throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A head kick by Gulag misses and Dardar counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dardar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gulag keeps working. Dardar not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gulag wants to improve his position but Dardar is controlling well.
Dardar looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Dardar trying to control the action but Gulag is working from the bottom. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dardar looks to score some points with some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dardar throwing shots but Gulag is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Dardar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Grizzly Gulag's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Dardar fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Dardar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gulag tries to avoid it but Dardar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gulag to the ground. Gulag escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dardar has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dardar scores with a push kick. Dardar works over Gulag's head and body with a nice combination. Some wild striking there from Dardar.
Gulag takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Gulag throws a sloppy head kick and Dardar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dardar works Gulag's body with a nice hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gulag on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Dardar lands with a thumping leg kick.

Dardar scores with a hook. Dardar connects with a solid leg kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Danga de danga de dang - Dardar scores with a four punch combination! Dardar connects with the punch. Dardar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jesse Dardar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gulag takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gulag takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Dardar ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Dardar lands a nice hook to Gulag's body. Gulag takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Dardar closes the distance and clinches up with Gulag, looking for a takedown. Dardar pushes Gulag against the cage but Gulag circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Grizzly Gulag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Dardar. Dardar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dardar scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Dardar scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dardar passes to full mount! Dardar raining down shots from the mount! Dardar working for a guillotine from mount but Gulag is in no mood to give up. Gulag tries to reverse the position but Dardar maintains control. Jesse Dardar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dardar controlling the pace for now. Dardar wants to take his opponent's back but Gulag doesn't allow it. Dardar looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gulag stops Dardar from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Dardar controlling from the full mount. Grizzly Gulag has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dardar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gulag is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gulag tries to hold on but Dardar postures up. Dardar wants to control the pace but Gulag is squirming around nicely. Gulag is wriggling around trying to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dardar fails to take his opponent's back. Dardar controlling from the full mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Jesse Dardar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dardar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
