Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thor Pe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Jackel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pe lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Thor Pe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackel throws a nice looking combination but Pe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jackel misses with a low kick.
Pe on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jackel. Jackel obviously looking to wear him down.
Jackel lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pe backs up against the cage.
It looks like Thor Pe has been cut.
Jackel swats away the attempt to clinch by Pe.

and Jackel moves into the clinch.
Pe is trying to break the clinch but Jackel has him pressed against the cage.

Pe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jackel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Jackel counters with a single leg into guard. Pe didn't expect that.
Pe is breathing heavily.
Jackel wants to control from the top but Pe keeps moving.
Pe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jackel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jackel gets to his feet - Pe follows without any prompting.

and Jackel counters with a good low kick that Pe was not able to check.

Pe leaves Jackel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jackel postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Jackel decides to stand back up. Jackel steps back and let's Pe get back to his feet.
Pe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackel circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Pe lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jackel backs up against the cage.
Jackel throws a right and a left that Pe avoids nicely.

and Jackel counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jackel.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jackel wants to control from the top but Pe keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Pe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jackel.

Jackel is trying to trip Pe. He has hold of a leg but Pe is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jackel persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Jackel throws a strike but Pe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jackel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pe sprawls well. Pe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackel gets slowly back to his feet.
