The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Da Hammer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Da Hammer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Santocildes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Santocildes is squirming around, avoiding Da Hammer's attempts to control the action.
Da Hammer looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Santocildes wants to control from the top but Da Hammer keeps moving.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Santocildes moves into the clinch.
Santocildes jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Da Hammer walks away with a smile on his face. Santocildes gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Santocildes looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Da Hammer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nammer Da Hammer.
Da Hammer pushes Santocildes up against the cage in a clinch.
Santocildes tries to break free but Da Hammer pushes him back against the cage.
Da Hammer wants a takedown.
A frustrated look appears on Santocildes's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Santocildes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Da Hammer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Da Hammer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Da Hammer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Santocildes can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Santocildes tries to reverse the position but Da Hammer maintains control.

Da Hammer fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Da Hammer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Santocildes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Santocildes shrugs it off.

Nammer Da Hammer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Da Hammer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Da Hammer has control of Santocildes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Santocildes regains control of the situation pretty easily.
