The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennox scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lennox jabs Samoan right on the nose. Samoan blinks but takes it well.
Lennox has taken the fight to the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lennox is working hard here to advance position.
Samoan throws some wild stikes that Lennox manages to avoid easily.
Lennox tries to lock up and control but Samoan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Poor strikes thrown by Samoan there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Samoan dodges the punch combination from Lennox.
Lennox throws a right hand that Samoan ducks under and follows up with a left that Samoan also avoids with ease.
Samoan shoots in and drives through. Lennox sprawls well.
Samoan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lennox tries to avoid it but Samoan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lennox to the ground. Lennox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Armenian Samoan has got the better of the ground game so far.

Samoan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Samoan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Larry Lennox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Armenian Samoan.

Lennox working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Samoan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lennox is tightening it up a little... Samoan has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Samoan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Samoan taps out! nice BJJ there by Lennox!
