Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toxteth Ogrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Brashears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Brashears's choice of entrance music: Walk by Pantera. Toxteth Ogrady could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brandon Brashears's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toxteth Ogrady! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Brashears! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brashears has taken the fight to the clinch.

Brashears lands a body punch in the clinch. Brashears's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brashears lands a nice hook to Ogrady's body. Ogrady takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Good shot there by Ogrady. Brashears has taken the fight to the clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ogrady moves out of range of the body kick from Brashears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ogrady tries to clinch but Brashears moves away and Brashears counters by moving into the clinch. Brashears looking to slow down the pace here. Ogrady stalling in the clinch but Brashears improves position. Ogrady can't get the takedown.
Brashears turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Brashears manages to end up in side control. Ogrady is trying to control Brashears's posture but Brashears avoids it. Brashears is looking to take a break and control but Ogrady is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brashears lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brashears connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Ogrady some visible discomfort.
Ogrady regains half guard, as Brashears was trying to land strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Brashears won't allow Ogrady to sweep him here. Brashears lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Brashears throws and elbow that misses. Ogrady uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brashears's guard. Nice move by Ogrady! Brashears seems keen to control Ogrady's posture. Brashears looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ogrady trying to control the position from guard on top but Brashears is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ogrady trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Brandon Brashears showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Brandon Brashears seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ogrady tries to clinch up and Brashears counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ogrady tries to clinch up and Brashears holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Brandon Brashears is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Brashears is pressed up against the cage. Ogrady has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brashears down to the mat. Brashears avoids the attempt though and has circled away. And that's the end of the fight! Brandon Brashears comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brashears has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
