And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dixon Cox!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cox darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Redshaw tries to roll over but Cox keeps him under control.
Cox not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Cox working over Redshaw with some ground and pound. Redshaw looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Cox lands with a punch from half guard.
Cox thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Redshaw's head.
Cox sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Redshaw defending well though.
Cox thows a huge punch but Redshaw dodges it nicely.
Redshaw gets back to full guard.
Redshaw is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Cox is staying active underneath Redshaw, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Cox tries to roll over but Redshaw keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nice strikes from Redshaw there.
Redshaw looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cox with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Redshaw slips a nice elbow through Cox's hands, connecting with Cox's forehead.
Cox is still in real trouble! Can Redshaw finish him?
Redshaw lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Redshaw is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Cox is hurt! He's hurt bad - Redshaw fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Cox from any more punishment! Congratulations to Redshaw! Great finish!
