The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee lands a nice looking body shot.
Bantum throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McGee's waist but McGee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bantum off to one side.
McGee dodges the punch combination from Bantum.
McGee throws a big shot that misses.
McGee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McGee lands a really nice looking cross but Bantum seems unphased.

McGee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
McGee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
McGee wants to control but Bantum is keeping him busy.

McGee is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

McGee throws a series of punches but Bantum avoids them all with ease.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bantum tries to close the distance and clinch but McGee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McGee looks to land a left hand but Bantum moved out of range nicely.

McGee connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bantum.
The fighters circle momentarily. McGee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Bantum stalks McGee and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McGee's face. McGee staggers backwards, shaken.

The referee is keeping an eye on McGee - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Bantum wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McGee has him pressed against the cage.

Bantum has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! McGee celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
