Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Dostoevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Routalempi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vlad Dostoevsky!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pekka Routalempi!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dostoevsky moves into the clinch successfully.
Routalempi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dostoevsky walks away with a smile on his face. Routalempi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Routalempi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dostoevsky's waist but Dostoevsky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Routalempi off to one side.
Routalempi fails to land the takedown.
Vlad Dostoevsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pekka Routalempi.
Dostoevsky lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Pekka Routalempi has been cut.
Dostoevsky scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dostoevsky instigates a clinch.

Dostoevsky misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Routalempi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dostoevsky cracks Routalempi with an uppercut from hell and Routalempi crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Dostoevsky's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dostoevsky accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Dostoevsky postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Routalempi in real trouble here! The ref calls for Routalempi to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
