Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Von Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Faur Bogdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bogdan tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bogdan to the ground. Bogdan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bogdan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silva.
Silva looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Silva content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Bogdan wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bogdan manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bogdan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Silva is refusing to be controlled, as Bogdan sits in half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Bogdan is retaining full guard.

and Silva counters by clinching up.

Bogdan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silva pulls his leg out and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bogdan's half guard.

Silva lands a big shot there that rocks Bogdan but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Bogdan bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Silva feints and as Bogdan raises his hands in defense, Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silva gets to his feet. Bogdan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Silva counters with a single leg into guard. Bogdan didn't expect that.
Silva is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bogdan wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Silva is looking to stand up but Bogdan won't let him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Bogdan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bogdan has gone for a leg lock! Silva slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bogdan's guard.

Silva takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Silva gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
