Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adriano Zaginho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Pulido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Pulido told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adriano Zaginho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Pulido! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pulido throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zaginho's waist but Zaginho gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pulido off to one side. Adriano Zaginho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zaginho with a lazy takedown attempt and Pulido counters with a shoot takedown. Zaginho fights it but they end up in guard. Pulido avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zaginho had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pulido defends it easily. Zaginho has his foot on Pulido's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pulido works his way back into a safe position though. Pulido throwing strikes from guard but Zaginho blocks nicely. Pulido landing with the ground and pound. Pulido avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pulido really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zaginho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pulido keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zaginho's head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pulido accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zaginho is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Zaginho preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Zaginho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pulido doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pulido manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pulido trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Zaginho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pulido gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Zaginho is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Pulido frees his head nicely. Oh but Zaginho has switched to an armbar! Pulido is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Adriano Zaginho!
