Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Bando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuck Liddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luke Bando! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell scores with a takedown into Bando's guard. Bando keeping moving, preventing Liddell from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Liddell stops Bando from standing up. Liddell postures up.
Liddell stands up and waves to Bando to follow him. A solid leg kick lands there for Bando.
Bando fails with the takedown and Liddell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bando's guard now. Liddell postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bando is working an open guard so Liddell takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Liddell scores with a nice body kick.
Liddell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bando is looking to reverse the position. Liddell stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bando has Liddell up against the cage in a clinch.
Liddell has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bando is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Liddell is breathing heavily. Liddell trying to stall but Bando improves his position.
Liddell wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bando stops a takedown attempt from Liddell.

Bando shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bando was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bando avoids the attempt from Liddell to control. Bando putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bando connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Liddell keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bando lands with some strikes. Liddell is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Liddell tries to get back to half guard but can't. Liddell is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bando won't let Liddell get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Liddell is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bando controlling the pace for now. Liddell sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Liddell is trying to stand up here but Bando is controlling him well. Liddell is not content to let Bando control the position. Bando is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Liddell kicks off Bando and gets to his feet. Liddell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bando makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Liddell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bando circles away from the clinch attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bando throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bando bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Liddell struggling a bit here. Bando tries to advance to mount but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Luke Bando will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Liddell thuds a left hand into Bando's body. Bando throws a combination that misses and Liddell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bando cracks Liddell with a nice body shot. Liddell has Bando pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bando manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Liddell landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Bando lands an elbow just above Liddell 's eye.
It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut. Liddell jumps guard but Bando stands there with Liddell around his waist. Liddell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A body shot lands from Bando.
Bando breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bando throws a combination that misses and Liddell counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bando tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Bando tries to kick Liddell off but Liddell keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bando is trying to get back to full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bando moves into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bando scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Bando tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Liddell counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Liddell. Liddell content to stall in guard here. Bando looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bando is trying to control the position but Liddell postures up. Bando working a defensive guard but Liddell passes into half guard.

Bando works his way to full guard. Good work. Liddell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Liddell preventing the sweep. Bando is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Liddell is controlling him. Liddell controls from within his opponent's guard. Liddell stands up and waves to Bando to follow him. Bando takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Bando misses with the combination.
Liddell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Liddell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Liddell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Liddell fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bando.

Liddell darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Liddell is looking for a kimura but Bando is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Liddell to get the leverage. Bando is trying to stand up here but Liddell is controlling him well. Bando punching from the bottom.
Bando tries to roll over but Liddell keeps him under control. Bando slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Liddell stopping the sweep attempt from Bando.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Liddell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Bando scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Liddell makes his way to full guard, as Bando worked for a kimura.
Bando trying to control the position from guard on top but Liddell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown by Liddell or perhaps it was just good defense by Bando which made him look bad. Bando misses with a head kick.
Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bando paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bando throws a series of punches but Liddell avoids them all with ease. Bando tries to clinch but Liddell moves away and Liddell counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bando working a defensive guard here.
Liddell gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Bando tries for a takedown but Liddell circles away easily and Liddell counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Liddell.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell trying to control the position from guard on top but Bando is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Liddell decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bando connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Bando swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Liddell scores with a kick to the body.
Bando takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Liddell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bando's waist but Bando gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Liddell off to one side. Bando tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddell swivels and escapes. Chuck Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Bando. Liddell lands a body shot.
Liddell feints and as Bando raises his hands in defense, Liddell changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Liddell forces his way into half guard. Bando moves into full guard.
Chuck Liddell overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bando throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Liddell is posturing up here but Bando has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Liddell tries to roll out but it's too tight and Liddell has to tap! Slick submission there by Bando!
