Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bates has chosen Hmmm... Interesting... as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Swagger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Norman Bates!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bates tests Swagger's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bates looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Swagger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bates swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Swagger slips a jab and a cross from Bates.
Swagger moves in looking to clinch but Bates pushes him off.
Bates swats away the attempt to clinch by Swagger.
Bates misses with a few strikes there.

Bates feints and as Swagger raises his hands in defense, Bates changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Swagger wants to get back to his feet but Bates is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Swagger trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
