Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Hawkings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Iced Earth - Habinger of Fate. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hawkings paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hawkings throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silva slips under a jab.
Silva throws a leg kick which misses Hawkings's front leg but catches the back leg as Hawkings tries to avoid it.
Silva scores with a head kick.

It looks like Shawn Hawkings has been cut.
Hawkings checks the leg kick.
Silva sizes up Hawkings with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Silva will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Silva lands a head kick!
Silva misses with a head kick.
Silva tries to clinch but Hawkings is having none of it.
Hawkings throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hawkings walks forward, straight into a front kick from Silva.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva feints and then cracks Hawkings's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hawkings down.

Hawkings throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hawkings will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva stuns Hawkings with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hawkings stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Silva.
Hawkings is breathing heavily.
Silva scores with a nice head shot.
Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hawkings. That did some damage!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Silva, right into the meat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Silva.
Silva connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hawkings tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Silva buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Abel Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A nice leg kick lands there from Silva.
Silva moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hawkings takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

A head kick from Silva lands but Hawkings takes it in his stride.
Abel Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Shawn Hawkings's cut is getting worse.
Silva chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Whack! Silva lands a heavy head kick that drops Hawkings. The ref tackles Silva to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Hawkings was done.
