Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Macho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macho's entrance music is "Woman From Tokyo". A fine choice. Paul Macho has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Macho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Williams! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Williams throws a nice outside leg kick. Williams throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Paul Macho has been cut. Macho's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Macho duly obliges.
It looks like Ben Williams has been cut. Macho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williams feints and then cracks Macho's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Macho down. Macho throws a right hand that Williams ducks under and follows up with a left that Williams also avoids with ease. Williams tries to score with a low kick but Macho moves his leg out of the way. Williams misses with a two punch combination.
Macho misses the shot to the body. Macho swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Williams counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Macho looking to control.

Macho throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Macho has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Williams looking to sit in guard and control but Macho gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Macho might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Williams looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macho throws and elbow that misses. Williams uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Macho's guard. Nice move by Williams! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Macho holds on and takes a little breather. Macho trying to keep a closed guard but Williams is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Macho trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Williams wants to stand but Macho has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Macho is trying to control the position but Williams postures up. Williams loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Macho misses with a combination
and Williams counters with an outside leg kick.
Macho throws a lazy head kick and Williams counters with a leg kick. Paul Macho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams has Macho up against the cage in a clinch.

Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Macho tries for a takedown but Williams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Macho misses with a leg kick and Williams counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Macho's guard now. Macho is breathing heavily. Macho utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Williams stopping the sweep attempt from Macho. Macho not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams landing with the ground and pound. Macho keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. Macho not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Williams wants to get up but he can't break Macho's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Williams won't allow Macho to sweep him here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Macho closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Macho lands in his opponent's guard. Williams working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Macho. Williams is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Macho is controlling him.

Macho missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Macho trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Williams wants to get back to his feet but Macho is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Macho shoots in for a double leg but Williams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Williams dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action!
Macho throws a head kick that misses and Williams counters with a nice leg kick. Williams fails with a takedown attempt. Macho fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Williams connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Macho, as that shot connected.
A jab-cross combination lands for Macho and sends Williams crashing to the mat! Macho follows him down to the mat - Williams regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Williams is rocked! Macho throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Williams is still in real trouble! Can Macho finish him? Macho scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Macho is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Williams keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Williams seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams works his way to full guard. Good work. Macho trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. Williams looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Williams is breathing heavily. Macho postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Macho throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Macho throws a lazy head kick and Williams counters with a single leg into guard. Macho didn't expect that. Macho is pulling down on Williams's head. It's preventing any offense from Williams, at least for the moment. Macho is trying to control the position from the bottom.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Macho tries to get out of the position. Macho is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Williams stands up from guard. Let's bang! Williams slips a straight right by Macho. Macho throws a head kick that misses and Williams counters with a shoot takedown. Macho fights it but they end up in guard. Williams is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Macho is adopting a defensive guard.

Macho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Macho! Both fighters are breathing heavily. That's one minute gone in the round. Macho wants to hold on but Williams pushes him away. Macho is bucking up trying to escape but Williams cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Williams looking to control but Macho is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Williams working away from the top, dropping strikes. Williams wants to finish this one by submission but Macho is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Williams. Macho is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Macho tries to hold on but Williams pushes him away. Paul Macho has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Williams looking to ground and pound but Macho is blocking nicely. Williams avoids the attempt from Macho to control. Macho is wriggling around trying to escape.

Lucky escape for Macho because Williams loaded up on that one. Macho takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Williams is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Macho desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Williams wanted to stand there but Macho had control of the position. Macho is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Williams preventing the sweep. Williams lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Macho has Williams pulled in close to control his posture.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ben Williams. I've got Williams winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
