The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balavurda slips a jab and a cross from Kourlios.
Kourlios lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Balavurda circles away quickly and effectively.
Balavurda throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kourlios jabs Balavurda right on the nose. Balavurda blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Mihajlo Balavurda has been cut.

Kourlios throws an overhand right that lands on Balavurda's shoulder, as Balavurda tries to avoid the shot.
Kourlios shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Balavurda takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Kourlios sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Balavurda bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
