Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dennis has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The key to victory for Chuck Alkofer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alkofer lands a left and a right that send Dennis crashing to the mat, dazed. Alkofer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Al Dennis has been cut. Dennis looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Alkofer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dennis's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Alkofer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Alkofer trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Alkofer drops back looking for a leg! Dennis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dennis manages to kick Alkofer off! Alkofer jumps back into Dennis's guard. Alkofer stands and steps away. Dennis gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Alkofer throws a shot to the body.
Alkofer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alkofer lands in his opponent's guard. Alkofer trying to control the position from guard on top but Dennis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alkofer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dennis keeping moving, preventing Alkofer from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Alkofer throws a big right hand that misses. Dennis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Alkofer trying to control but Dennis is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Alkofer gets a takedown into half guard. Alkofer content to control rather than advance. Dennis wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Alkofer seems content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alkofer prevents Dennis from standing back up.
Alkofer is trying to work for a kimura but Dennis is defending well.
Alkofer not landing any meaningful shots this time. Alkofer prevents Dennis from improving his position. Alkofer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Alkofer feints and as Dennis raises his hands in defense, Alkofer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Alkofer is standing up over Dennis. Dennis looks to escape but Alkofer dives into side control.
Alkofer looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Alkofer is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dennis has escaped the position, nice work there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Alkofer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Alkofer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Alkofer dominated that round. The cut man is working on Al Dennis's cut. That's time! Alkofer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dennis clinches up with Alkofer and pushes him back against the cage. Alkofer tries to pull guard but Dennis won't allow it.
A nice right hand lands inside from Alkofer. Alkofer lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dennis or not. Alkofer jumps guard but Dennis stands there with Alkofer around his waist. Alkofer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Alkofer successfully pulls guard.
Alkofer is trying to keep Dennis in close.
Dennis would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Alkofer manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Al Dennis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Alkofer scores a takedown into full mount! Dennis wants to control but Alkofer is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alkofer controlling from the full mount. Alkofer avoids the attempt from Dennis to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The referee warns Dennis that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Alkofer controlling from mount. Dennis tries to lock up and control but Alkofer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alkofer controlling his opponent. Dennis has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Dennis defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Alkofer's arms. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dennis trying to control the position but Alkofer manages to sink in the hooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Alkofer's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Dennis looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Alkofer lands shots from the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Alkofer dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Al Dennis's cut. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Alkofer scores a takedown into full mount! You get the feeling that Dennis really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Alkofer in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Alkofer looking to control but Dennis is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dennis is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Alkofer has taken his back! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Even with his hooks in, Alkofer manages to miss with strikes from the back. Alkofer is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Dennis is defending well though. Alkofer let's go of the attempt for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dennis is trying to break free.
Alkofer is looking to control Dennis but Dennis is wriggling around and keeping busy. Alkofer is really struggling to control Dennis but he's trying to hold on to the position. Dennis just trying to survive but Alkofer is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dennis covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Alkofer keeps control of the position easily here as Dennis tries to buck him off.

Chuck Alkofer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Alkofer avoiding Dennis 's attempts to control his hands. I would not like to be Dennis right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alkofer tries to keep control of the position but Dennis is staying busy. Dennis looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Dennis can't escape the position.
Alkofer landing with strikes. Alkofer slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Will Alkofer go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Dennis rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Dennis is trying to get back to full guard. Alkofer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dennis keeps working. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dennis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Alkofer is working away from the top position though. Al Dennis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chuck Alkofer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dennis flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Alkofer showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Alkofer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
