Hallquist tries to clinch there but Eckel circles away.

Eckel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hallquist pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Eckel decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hallquist's guard.
Eckel wants to control from the top but Hallquist keeps moving.
Hallquist lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Hallquist wants to sweep but no luck.

Eckel wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Hallquist's closed guard. He's half up but Hallquist has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Hallquist pivots and extends the arm, Eckel falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Hallquist! Well done that man!
