Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Archie Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Christian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bell's entrance music is Eminem - Almost Famous. A fine choice. Archie Bell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Christian!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bell ducks under a wild hook from Christian.
Christian takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bell avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Christian uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bell.
Christian misses with an uppercut. Bell saw that one coming.

Christian drops Bell with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bell looks back up at him and smiles so Christian waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Archie Bell has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Christian throws a right and a left that both miss.

Bell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Christian sprawls well initially but Bell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bell throwing shots but Christian is blocking nicely.
Bell wants to control but Christian is keeping him busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Christian can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bell throws a strike but Christian avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Christian keeping moving, preventing Bell from controlling successfully.
Bell is looking to stand up but Christian won't let him.

Bell tries to free his leg and advance position but Christian is retaining full guard.
Bell with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bell scores with the left hand. Christian knows he should have avoided that one.
Nice shot lands for Bell.

Bell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Christian takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Bell darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Bell is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Christian as he works his way to full guard.

Christian wants to get back to his feet but Bell is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Christian really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Christian utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bell stands and steps away. Christian gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Christian throws a body punch but Bell moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bell.
Christian misses with a hook.

Bell closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Christian did well to prevent Bell getting side control.
Bell is looking to take a break and control but Christian is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bell has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Christian defend it? Bell steps over the head and cranks it - Christian is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bell!
