Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Estevan Ledesma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Cheese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ledesma comes to the cage accompanied by Mark Ronson ft Q-Tip - Bang Bang. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Estevan Ledesma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Walter Cheese! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ledesma shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ledesma showed some decent athleticism there. Ledesma slows the pace down in half guard. Ledesma passes to full mount! Ledesma looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ledesma has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Estevan Ledesma just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Cheese is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ledesma. Cheese throws a hook but Ledesma blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ledesma slips under a jab. Ledesma closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Ledesma seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cheese for as long as he can get away with.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Estevan Ledesma. Ledesma keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Walter Cheese seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cheese throws a hook to the side of Ledesma's head but Ledesma sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cheese showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ledesma.
Ledesma takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Cheese throws a combination. Ledesma tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Cheese misses with a combination
and Ledesma counters with a nice double leg into guard. Ledesma not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Estevan Ledesma dominated that round. That's time! Ledesma's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Cheese throws a hook but Ledesma avoids it easily. Cheese swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ledesma cracks Cheese with a right hand to the side of the head. Ledesma ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cheese gets caught flat footed, as Ledesma shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ledesma pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cheese is keeping the position for now. Cheese wants to stand up but Ledesma is controlling him. Cheese can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ledesma controls the pace. Ledesma advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ledesma passes to side control. Ledesma controlling the position from side mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Estevan Ledesma. Cheese thows a left - swing and a miss! A swing and a miss from Cheese. Cheese throws a combination that misses and Ledesma counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cheese can't find room to land a body shot as Ledesma controls the action.
Ledesma lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Cheese. Ledesma lands a damaging elbow. Ledesma lands a knee to the body.
Cheese is breathing heavily. Cheese is working Ledesma over against the cage. Ledesma working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Ledesma throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Ledesma lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cheese or not. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ledesma is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Ledesma blocking some punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A short uppercut from Ledesma. Good body shot from Ledesma.
Ledesma lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Ledesma manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ledesma lands a hook to the side of the head. A right hand to the body from Ledesma.
Ledesma lands an elbow that stopped Cheese in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Walter Cheese has been cut. Ledesma lands with a light punch inside. Cheese takes an elbow to the temple.
Cheese is rocked! Ledesma tries to land knees in the clinch but Cheese avoids the damage to the body. Ledesma lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Cheese is still on wobbly legs! Can Ledesma finish him? Ledesma prevents a body shot from Cheese. Cheese seems to have recovered his senses. A nice left hand lands by Ledesma.
Ledesma lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Cheese to his knees! Ledesma keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Estevan Ledesma!
