Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Bergstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xande BD (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergstrom throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. BD was covering up waiting for the punch and Bergstrom finishes the takedown easily into guard.
BD looking to control.
Bergstrom throwing strikes from guard but BD blocks nicely.
Bergstrom looking to pass the guard.
Bergstrom trying to control but BD is working from the bottom.
Bergstrom wants to pass the guard but BD is keeping the position.
BD is pulling down on Bergstrom's head. It's preventing any offense from Bergstrom, at least for the moment.

BD wants to sweep here but Bergstrom controlling him for the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
BD with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bergstrom counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for BD!
BD is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bergstrom goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now BD is on top in guard.
BD trying to control the position from guard on top but Bergstrom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bergstrom looking to hit a scissor sweep but BD is one step ahead there.

Bergstrom lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for BD!
BD gets back to half guard.
Bergstrom wants to take a breather but BD is having none of it.
Bergstrom working over BD with some ground and pound. BD looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bergstrom is trying to control the action in half guard but BD is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

BD tries to roll over but Bergstrom keeps him under control.
Bergstrom is working for a submission of some sort.
BD is looking to improve his position.
BD looks gassed!
Bergstrom looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bergstrom works his way into full mount!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bergstrom takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bergstrom lands a heavy elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bergstrom lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bergstrom bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bergstrom is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. BD is trying to escape and Bergstrom transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and BD is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bergstrom! Very nice indeed!
