Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Markus Spermon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Aerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Aerts is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aerts buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Aerts throws a body punch but Spermon moves out of range.
Aerts bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Markus Spermon has been cut.
A slow jab from Aerts misses its intended target.

Aerts feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Spermon sprawling to the canvas! Spermon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Aerts finish him?!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aerts tries to clinch up but Spermon circles away and keeps his distance.
Aerts moves out of range of the body kick.
Spermon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Spermon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Aerts.

Aerts gets a clinch.

Aerts pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Aerts misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aerts blocks a head kick by Spermon.
Aerts scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Aerts tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Aerts throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Spermon looks to land a body kick but Aerts moved away.

Aerts drives through and clinches with Spermon against the cage.
Spermon blocks an elbow strike from Aerts.
Spermon managing to block the knees to the body from Aerts.
A body shot lands from Aerts.

Aerts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Aerts misses with a two punch combination.
A thudding body kick lands there by Aerts!
Spermon is breathing heavily.
Aerts throws a head kick but Spermon moves out of range.
Spermon throws a wild body kick that Aerts sees coming a mile off.

Aerts lands a left and a right that send Spermon crashing to the mat, dazed. Aerts thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aerts throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Aerts takes a swing at Spermon's ribcage but misses.
Aerts chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Spermon takes one to the chin there.

Markus Spermon's cut is getting worse.
Aerts closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Spermon! Aerts dives in looking to finish! Spermon is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
