Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rashawn Curry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jukka Jumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jumi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by War Machine. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Curry decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Curry is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Curry is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jumi reverses the position - he's now on top in Curry's guard.

Jumi wants to get up but he can't break Curry's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's time! Curry's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Curry lands a nice short elbow.

Jumi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Curry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Curry manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jumi is pulling down on Curry's head. It's preventing any offense from Curry, at least for the moment.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Curry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Curry is stalling here. Jumi is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Curry seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jumi has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
