Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taai Taai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kunwa Jiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taai kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Snoop. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Taai Taai!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kunwa Jiki!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taai tries to clinch but Jiki moves out of range.
Jiki misses with a wild body shot.
Jiki closes the distance and clinches.
Taai missing with knees to the body.
Jiki is trying to trip Taai. He has hold of a leg but Taai is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jiki persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Jiki loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jiki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taai swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jiki lands a couple of decent looking shots.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jiki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Taai is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jiki scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Jiki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jiki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jiki's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Jiki lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Taai is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jiki passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Jiki cracks Taai with a big elbow.
Taai gets back to half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Jiki not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Taai regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Jiki.
Jiki postures up in Taai's guard and throws a big left but Taai blocks it.
Jiki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Taai controls Jiki momentarily but Jiki frees himself.

Taai preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jiki cracks Taai with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jiki drives through and clinches with Taai against the ropes.

Taai is trying to break the clinch but Jiki is controlling him.
Jiki keeps control of Taai as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Jiki throws a head punch that misses.
Jiki is trying to drag Taai to the mat but Taai just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Taai tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Jiki gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Taai wants to sweep here but Jiki controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Taai is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Taai preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jiki stopping the sweep attempt from Taai.
Jiki is pushing down on Taai's leg trying to pass to half guard. Taai is fighting to maintain full guard but Jiki has managed to sneak the leg through.
Taai is trying to control but can't.
Jiki working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jiki looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Jiki frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Taai wants to control but Jiki is having none of it.
Taai is in a horrible position here. Jiki smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
A big strike lands for Jiki! That's really hurt Taai and he's turned his back - Jiki keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Jiki jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kunwa Jiki!
