Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antoni Nogalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Wallace told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antoni Nogalski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Wallace! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nogalski gets a clinch. Wallace stops a takedown attempt from Nogalski.
Wallace gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Nogalski.
Nogalski fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antoni Nogalski. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace is looking to control Nogalski's arms but Nogalski gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wallace has his back to the ropes. Wallace stops a takedown attempt from Nogalski.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nogalski is working for takedown but Wallace is calmly controlling the position for now. Wallace wants to break the clinch but can't.

Wallace wanted to stand there but Nogalski had control of the position. Nogalski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wallace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nogalski controls Wallace momentarily but Wallace frees himself. Wallace trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nogalski's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace won't allow Nogalski to sweep him here. Wallace must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Nogalski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wallace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Nogalski is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wallace defends well. Nogalski is looking for a triangle but Wallace pushes his legs off easily.
Nogalski has a closed guard, preventing Wallace from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nogalski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wallace lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nogalski circles away quickly and effectively. Nogalski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wallace.

The fight stays on the outside here - Nogalski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wallace looks to throw the jab but Nogalski is out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Antoni Nogalski will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nogalski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wallace.
Wallace throws a right hand that Nogalski ducks under and follows up with a left that Nogalski also avoids with ease. A combination from Wallace does no damage. Wallace misses with a body shot.
Nogalski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wallace tries to avoid it but Nogalski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wallace to the ground. Wallace escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wallace lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nogalski circles away quickly and effectively. Wallace throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wallace throws out a token jab with nothing on it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace lands with an uppercut that bounces Nogalski off the ropes and back into rage.
It looks like Antoni Nogalski has been cut. Wallace fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wallace lands a left and a right that send Nogalski crashing to the mat, dazed. Wallace thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace throws a hook to the side of Nogalski's head but Nogalski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Antoni Nogalski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wallace looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nogalski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wallace's waist but Wallace gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nogalski off to one side. Chris Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace scores with a hook to the body. Nogalski takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Nogalski gets a takedown into half guard. Wallace wants to stand back up but Nogalski manages to pass into side control.
Wallace is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Nogalski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nogalski looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Nogalski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nogalski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wallace knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Wallace is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Nogalski asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Nogalski. Nogalski is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wallace has escaped the position, nice work there. Nogalski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wallace knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Wallace throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Wallace misses the shot to the body. Wallace throws a right hand that Nogalski ducks under and follows up with a left that Nogalski also avoids with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wallace moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Nogalski has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wallace finds it's way round the side to connect with Nogalski's head. Nogalski tries to move into range but Wallace moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Antoni Nogalski's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Wallace misses with a wild body shot. Wallace drops Nogalski with a straight right hand, right on the button! Wallace follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
