The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dowda rushes Filipovic and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Filipovic lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Filipovic is looking to control Dowda's arms but Dowda gets an underhook and turns him. Now Filipovic has his back to the ropes.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Filipovic takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dowda moves into range and connects with a jab.

Filipovic takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Filipovic feints and then cracks Dowda's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dowda down.

Dowda dips a shoulder and cracks Filipovic with a mighty uppercut! Filipovic falls back against the ropes and Dowda unloads with a barrage of strikes! Filipovic is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Dowda screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
