Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Asgeir Borgermoen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bocano Smithian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bocano Smithian will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Smithian wants to break free but Borgermoen has control.
Smithian's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Smithian is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Borgermoen shoots in looking for a takedown. Smithian tries to sprawl out of it but Borgermoen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Smithian manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Smithian tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Borgermoen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Smithian can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Borgermoen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Smithian is looking to escape.
Borgermoen gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Borgermoen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Borgermoen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Smithian's head.
