The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thaiday misses with a few strikes there.
Shar is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Thaiday lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shar circles away quickly and effectively.
Thaiday decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Thaiday wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Shar uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Thaiday trying to control but Shar is working from the bottom.
Thaiday throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Shar wants to stand and escape but Thaiday is having none of it.
Thaiday trying to control the position from guard on top but Shar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Shar looks to score with a jab to the body but Thaiday is just out of range.
Thaiday lands a hook that stumbles Shar back into the cage. Thaiday follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Shar to the canvas! Thaiday pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Shar has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
