Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaq Oneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Jalinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shaq Oneil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Jalinski! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jalinski tries for a takedown but Oneil sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jalinski misses with a takedown and Oneil counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jalinski won't be happy with that. Jalinski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jalinski wants to control but Oneil postures up. Jalinski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Oneil wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Oneil tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Oneil has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jalinski can't do much from the bottom here. Jalinski tries to escape but Oneil is in control. Oneil decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jalinski to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oneil closes the distance and clinches. Jalinski jumps into guard, dragging Oneil to the mat.
Oneil won't allow Jalinski to get back to his feet. Oneil wants to control from the top but Jalinski keeps moving. Oneil is breathing heavily. Jalinski looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jalinski trying to control the position.

Oneil keeping moving, preventing Jalinski from controlling successfully. Jalinski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jalinski trying to control but Oneil is working from the bottom. Oneil trying to keep a closed guard but Jalinski is proving a slippery customer.
Jalinski wanted to stand there but Oneil had control of the position. Jalinski is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Jalinski stands up over Oneil, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jalinski with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Jalinski looking to pass the guard. Jalinski wants to control from the top but Oneil keeps moving. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jalinski advances to half guard. Jalinski performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Jalinski works his way into side control. Jalinski just content to control the position. Jalinski trying to control the position but Oneil is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oneil is working to avoid the ground and pound but Jalinski connects with a decent elbow. Jalinski tries to move into full mount but can't pass Oneil's legs. Oneil is looking to reverse the position. Jalinski trying to control the action but Oneil is working from the bottom. Oneil tries to strike but it doesn't land. Oneil is trying to improve his position. Jalinski lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oneil shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Oneil was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Oneil prevents Jalinski from getting the reversal. Jalinski is in a horrible position here. Oneil smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jalinski tries to lock up and control but Oneil gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jalinski keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Oneil with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jalinski is squirming around, avoiding Oneil's attempts to control the action. Jalinski is working to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oneil with shots to the head and body - Jalinski looks very uncomfortable down there. Oneil seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Jalinski is holding on tight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oneil wants to control from the top but Jalinski keeps moving. Jalinski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jalinski controlling Oneil's posture. Oneil stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jalinski swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oneil is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jalinski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jalinski has escaped and now he's on top! Oneil looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Oneil is looking to stand up but Jalinski isn't so interested in that idea. Jalinski postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oneil wants to stand up but Jalinski is controlling him. Oneil has a closed guard, preventing Jalinski from standing up. Jason Jalinski has got the better of the ground game so far. Jalinski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Oneil is keeping the position for now. Oneil had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jalinski is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Oneil Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jalinski's back instead. Oneil is trying to stick to Jalinski's back but Jalinski is turning into Oneil. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Oneil's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jalinski. Jalinski is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Jalinski controls from within his opponent's guard. Jalinski stands up and waves to Oneil to follow him.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shaq Oneil will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Jalinski tries for a takedown but Oneil circles away easily and Oneil counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jalinski is trying to stand up here but Oneil is controlling him well. Oneil uses his free foot to push down on Jalinski's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jalinski. Jalinski is trying to escape the mount.

Oneil unloading with bombs! Oneil controlling from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jalinski is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oneil sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Oneil misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jalinski is trying desperately to improve position. Jalinski manages to regain half guard. Good work. Oneil wants to pass to mount but Jalinski is defending the position. Oneil decides to return to a standing position. Oneil checks the leg kick nicely there.
Oneil throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jalinski. Oneil throws a sloppy head kick and Jalinski moves out of range easily. Jalinski with a poor takedown and Oneil counters with a shoot takedown. Jalinski fights it but they end up in guard. Oneil stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jalinski swivels though and keeps the full guard. Oneil postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oneil throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jalinski works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Oneil postures up.
Jalinski wants to sweep but no luck. Oneil won't allow Jalinski to get back to his feet. Jalinski is pulling down on Oneil's head. It's preventing any offense from Oneil, at least for the moment.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jalinski looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Oneil! Jalinski avoids the attempt from Oneil to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jalinski working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Oneil tries to hold on but Jalinski pushes him away. Oneil sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Oneil punching from the bottom.
Oneil moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oneil looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jalinski is one step ahead there.
And that's the end of the fight! Shaq Oneil showed his dominance in that final round. I think Oneil has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
