Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jary Bazu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago clinches with his opponent.
Drago's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bazu throws a head kick but Drago moves out of range.
Bazu walks into a left hand.
Drago displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bazu.
Drago closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Jary Bazu has been cut.

Drago is looking to clinch.
Drago gets a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Drago is going to stand back up.

Drago seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Drago decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Drago looks to throw the jab but Bazu is out of range.

and Drago counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Drago keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bazu's head.
Drago not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
