The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scheisse tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wuggle paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wuggle.
Wuggle tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Scheisse tries to escape but Wuggle is in control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wuggle tries to move into full mount but can't pass Scheisse's legs.
Scheisse is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wuggle has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Wuggle in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Wuggle working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Scheisse bucks up and tries to throw Wuggle off but instead Wuggle has got his back!

Scheisse looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.

Wuggle is persistently looking for the submission but Scheisse is defending it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Wuggle's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Snuggle Wuggle dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Scheisse throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Wuggle's head.

Scheisse gets caught flat footed, as Wuggle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Scheisse will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Wuggle stops Scheisse from standing up.
Wuggle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scheisse swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wuggle controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Wuggle stands and steps away. Scheisse gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Scheisse closes the distance and pushes Wuggle back into the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Scheisse on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Scheisse using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Wuggle has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

It looks like Snuggle Wuggle has been cut.
Scheisse throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wuggle blocks it with crossed arms.

Wuggle tries for a takedown but Scheisse manages to get underhooks.
Michael Scheisse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snuggle Wuggle.
Wuggle is breathing heavily.
Scheisse tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wuggle avoids it.
