Good leg kick by Alkofer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Alkofer lands a left and a right that send Villanova crashing to the mat, dazed. Alkofer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alkofer tries to clinch but Villanova is having none of it.
Oh Villanova is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Alkofer doesn't manage to clinch there - Villanova circles away.

Alkofer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Alkofer! Villanova is out on his feet! Alkofer rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Villanova is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Villanova is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
