The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha tries to clinch but Gonzales is having none of it.
Gonzales looks to land a combination but Rocha avoids it well.
Gonzales throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rocha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Some wild striking there from Gonzales.
Gonzales catches Rocha with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Gonzales lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rocha circles away quickly and effectively.

Rocha thumps Gonzales with a low kick.

Rocha fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gonzales.
Rocha lands with a thumping leg kick.

Speedy Gonzales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rocha moves in looking to clinch but Gonzales pushes him off.

Crunch! Rocha slams his shin into Gonzales's torso.
Rocha thuds his shin into the meat of Gonzales's side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rocha moves into range and clinches up with Gonzales.

Rocha throws a front kick that sends Gonzales stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Speedy Gonzales has been cut.
Gonzales sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rocha feints a jab and as Gonzales dips his head, Rocha unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Gonzales right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Gonzales falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Rocha smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Aldo Rocha!
