Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emelianenko !
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaska slips a jab and a cross from Emelianenko .
Vaska misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Vaska thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Vaska wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Emelianenko , who protects the arm well.
Vaska tries to score with some ground and pound. Emelianenko controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Vaska goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Emelianenko has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Vaska but great work by Emelianenko .

Well, if Vaska is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Vaska is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Emelianenko has managed to free his arm - good work.
Vaska is breathing heavily.

Vaska is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Vaska tries to score a power double leg takedown but Emelianenko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vaska somewhat.

Well Emelianenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
