Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gian Volonte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and takuku cagado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). cagado is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: tunico e tinoco. cagado has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gian Volonte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, takuku cagado!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volonte pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
No joy there for Volonte, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Volonte cracks cagado with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That has opened up takuku cagado's cut even more.
cagado connects with a looping right hand.
Volonte lands a left and a right that send cagado crashing to the mat, dazed. Volonte thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
cagado looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Volonte feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends cagado sprawling to the canvas! cagado rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Volonte finish him?!
cagado is rocked!
The cut above takuku cagado's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Volonte closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks cagado out cold! cagado corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gian Volonte!
