Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Witts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran Dalley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Witts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kieran Dalley! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dalley fails to land with a series of punches.
Dalley cracks Witts with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Witts misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Witts is breathing heavily. Dalley lands a lovely overhand right. Witts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dalley tries to avoid it but Witts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dalley to the ground. Dalley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dalley keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dalley lands a left and a right that send Witts crashing to the mat, dazed. Dalley thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Witts stuffs the takedown attempt from Dalley. Dalley gets slowly back to his feet. Dalley swinging wildly here.
Dalley is looking to clinch but Witts is avoiding it.

Kieran Dalley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dalley fails to land with a series of punches.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dalley!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dalley with a poor takedown and Witts counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Witts slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Dalley working a defensive guard here.
Witts won't allow Dalley to get back to his feet. Dalley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Witts looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Dalley keeping moving, preventing Witts from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Witts drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dalley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Witts has Dalley in his guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dalley landing with the ground and pound. Dalley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dalley throwing strikes from guard but Witts blocks nicely. Dalley with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Witts has his foot on Dalley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dalley works his way back into a safe position though. Dalley throws a big right hand that misses. Witts avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dalley throws a strike but Witts rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Witts working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dalley shoots and misses and Witts counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dalley's guard now. Josh Witts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kieran Dalley. Dalley keeping moving, preventing Witts from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kieran Dalley dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Witts shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dalley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dalley tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dalley is trying to control the position but Witts postures up. Dalley keeping full guard, as Witts tries to pass. Witts trying to control but Dalley is working from the bottom. Dalley has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Witts off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Witts counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Witts. Witts misses with a hook to the ribs.
Witts keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dalley's efforts to push away. A quick uppercut on the inside from Dalley. Dalley is trying to break the clinch but Witts has him pressed against the cage. Dalley tries to break the clinch but Witts is controlling the position. Witts lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Dalley tries to circle away but Witts has him pinned against the cage. Dalley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Witts steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dalley. Dalley misses with a wild combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dalley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dalley moves into range and connects with a jab. Dalley swings away with a body shot that misses
and Witts counters with a shoot takedown. Dalley fights it but they end up in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dalley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dalley is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dalley has momentary wrist control but Witts slips an elbow through the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Witts trying to control but Dalley is working from the bottom. Dalley is working an open guard so Witts takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Witts shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Witts wants to take a breather but Dalley is having none of it. Witts thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalley is trying to stand up here but Witts is controlling him well. Dalley is refusing to be controlled, as Witts sits in half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Witts in particular looking to stall. Witts stands up out of the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Witts dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Witts fails in his attempt to clinch. Dalley moves in looking to clinch but Witts pushes him off. Dalley shoots and misses and Witts counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Witts rushes Dalley and presses him up against the cage. Witts breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dalley scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Dalley circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dalley feints and as Witts raises his hands in defense, Dalley changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Witts is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Dalley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice sprawl there from Witts as Dalley shoots in. Dalley lands a glancing blow to the side of Witts's head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dalley lands the left hand. Dalley tries to bum rush Witts with a series of wild strikes but Witts uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's one minute gone in the round. Witts shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dalley defends it nicely. Witts moves in looking to clinch but Dalley pushes him off. Dalley has his takedown stuffed and Witts counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Josh Witts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kieran Dalley. Witts controlling the action here. Dalley wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dalley taking some punishment here, with Witts in his half guard. Witts is trying to control. Dalley wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Witts throwing shots but Dalley is blocking nicely. Dalley wants to get back to his feet. Witts thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dalley's head.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dalley scores with a jab to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalley misses with an uppercut. Witts shoots in but Dalley avoids the takedown attempt easily. Dalley waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Witts. Dalley shoots for a double leg takedown but Witts sprawls well. He's pushed Dalley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dalley might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Witts shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Dalley looks for a takedown but Witts sprawls well. Dalley doesn't succeed with the takedown and Witts counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dalley's guard now. Wittsis looking to pass into half guard but Dalley pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Dalley is in guard. Dalley trying to stand up but can't free himself from Witts's guard. Dalley throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Witts looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Witts wants to stand up but Dalley is controlling him. Dalley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Witts's head. Witts had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dalley defends it easily. Dalley chips away with some ground and pound. Dalley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dalley won't allow Witts to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Josh Witts showed his dominance in that final round. I think Witts has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
