Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Pitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakuraba has chosen speed TK Remix as his entrance music. Pitt has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Kazushi Sakuraba has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitt throws a right hand that Sakuraba ducks under and follows up with a left that Sakuraba also avoids with ease.
Sakuraba closes the distance and clinches up with Pitt, looking for a takedown. Sakuraba pushes Pitt against the cage but Pitt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pitt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sakuraba.
Pitt fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sakuraba fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jake Pitt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazushi Sakuraba.
Sakuraba changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pitt tries to avoid it but Sakuraba manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pitt to the ground. Pitt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sakuraba closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sakuraba lands in his opponent's guard.
Sakuraba sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pitt's guard.
Pitt is breathing heavily.

Pitt is defending against the submission attempts here by Sakuraba.

Sakuraba is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pitt is just riding it out for now. Sakuraba eventually gives up the hold.

Sakuraba wants to work for an arm triangle but Pitt is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Sakuraba is working for a kimura but Pitt is defending it quite comfortably.

Sakuraba is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sakuraba wants to pass to mount but Pitt is defending the position.

Sakuraba frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Sakuraba looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Sakuraba working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Pitt is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Sakuraba locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Pitt is forced to tap!
