Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fidel Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masahiko Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masahiko Kimura has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Fidel Castro's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fidel Castro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Masahiko Kimura! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kimura is fending him off so far but Castro persists. Nope, Kimura circles away and we're back to standing. Castro misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kimura scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kimura trying to control the action but Castro is working from the bottom. A bit of a lull in the action here. Castro is not content to let Kimura control the position. Castro controls the position for a moment. Castro wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Kimura wants to control but Castro is keeping him busy. Castro on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Castro tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castro tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kimura trying to control the action but Castro is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kimura checks a leg kick nicely. Castro has Kimura up against the cage in a clinch.
Castro misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kimura.
Castro pulls guard effortlessly. Castro keeping moving, preventing Kimura from controlling successfully. Castro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Castro pushes Kimura off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kimura fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Castro avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kimura closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kimura lands in his opponent's guard. Kimura should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kimura trying to control the position from guard on top but Castro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kimura advances to half guard. Kimura uses his free foot to push down on Castro's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Castro. Kimura fails to take his opponent's back. Castro is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura tries to control but Castro wriggling away. Kimura controlling the pace for now. Castro is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kimura tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Castro keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kimura looking to control but Castro is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Castro tries to hold on but Kimura postures up. Kimura content just to control the position here. Kimura trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kimura wants to take Castro's back here but Castro is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Masahiko Kimura. Kimura tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Castro swivels and escapes. Castro stuffs the takedown. Kimura is breathing heavily. Castro throws a solid leg kick but Kimura takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Castro. Castro shoots in but Kimura avoids the takedown attempt easily. Castro gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kimura to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Kimura is pushing down on Castro's leg trying to pass to half guard. Castro is fighting to maintain full guard but Kimura has managed to sneak the leg through. Castro is trying to get back to full guard. Kimura works his way into full mount! Castro is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kimura is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Castro has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura wants to take Castro's back here but Castro is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Castro is squirming around, avoiding Kimura's attempts to control the action. Castro is looking to get to half guard. Kimura takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kimura avoids the attempt from Castro to control. Kimura has control of Castro's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Castro regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kimura trying to control but Castro is having none of it. Castro is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kimura tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Castro tries to hold on but Kimura pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Masahiko Kimura showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Castro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Castro defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kimura. Kimura shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Castro as he avoids it easily. Castro shoots in and drives through. Kimura sprawls well. Castro gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Castro has Kimura pressed against the cage.
Castro lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Kimura goes for a takedown attempt but Castro pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Castro shoots in looking for a takedown. Kimura tries to sprawl out of it but Castro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kimura manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Castro pushes Kimura up against the cage in a clinch. Kimura tries for a takedown. No joy.
Castro gets control of Kimura's arms and successfully pulls guard. Castro will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Kimura postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kimura looks for a takedown but Castro sprawls well. Castro takes the fight into the clinch. Castro working hard to break the clinch.

Castro wants to control from the top but Kimura keeps moving. Castro with a flurry of punches that miss. Kimura is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Castro defends well. Kimura is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Castro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kimura keeping moving, preventing Castro from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Castro throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kimura works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Castro preventing the sweep. Kimura is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kimura working a defensive guard here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Castro closes the distance and clinches. Castro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Castro fails with a takedown attempt. Kimura drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Fidel Castro showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kimura has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
