PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norman Goreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar just misses with a punch to the body.
Lesnar looks gassed! Lesnar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goreman moves away. Goreman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Goreman is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lesnar looks calm but he's in trouble here. Goreman gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lesnar is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Goreman lets go of the hold and Lesnar can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Norman Goreman!
