Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Franks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, George Brookins! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franks looks for a takedown but Brookins sprawls well. Franks looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Brookins forces Franks back against the cage and clinches. Brookins turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Brookins manages to end up in side control. Brookins content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Brookins's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Franks is working to avoid the ground and pound but Brookins connects with a decent elbow. Brookins slows the pace down. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by George Brookins. Brookins leaves Franks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brookins looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Brookins stays in close to Franks's body and controls the position. Brookins gets to his feet. Franks looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Franks gets caught flat footed, as Brookins shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Brookins throws a leg kick which misses Franks's front leg but catches the back leg as Franks tries to avoid it. Brookins closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Brookins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by George Brookins. Brookins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Brookins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Brookins sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Brookins has closed the distance and engaged Franks in a clinch.
A short right from Brookins. Brookins tightens his grip and picks Franks up, before dumping him to the ground. Franks manages to land in guard. Brookins pushing down on Franks's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Brookins passes to full mount! Brookins takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Franks is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Brookins lands a heavy elbow. Brookins content just to control the position here. Brookins is landing with some decent strikes but Franks is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Brookins controlling his opponent. Brookins working away from the top, dropping strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A nice elbow there by Brookins. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brookins cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Brookins looking to finish Franks with some ground and pound. This is bad for Franks! Brookins postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Franks looks a forlorn figure.
Brookins lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Brookins working for a guillotine from mount but Franks is in no mood to give up. A nice elbow there by Brookins. Brookins lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Brookins is in the full mount, landing strikes. Franks tries to get back to half guard but can't. Brookins controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Brookins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Brookins has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Franks clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Brookins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Brookins avoiding Franks 's attempts to control his hands.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

George Brookins is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Franks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brookins on the ground. Brookins has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Franks.
And that's the end of the fight! George Brookins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brookins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
