Bennett comes to the cage accompanied by Stronger, Kanye West. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ogawa blocks a leg kick.
Bennett gets a clinch.

Bennett tries to pull guard but Ogawa won't allow it.

Ogawa tries to break the clinch but Bennett is controlling the position.
Ogawa wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bennett tries to pull guard but Ogawa holds him up against the cage and eventually Bennett drops back down to his feet.
Ogawa gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bennett.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Bennett. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bennett tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bennett tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ogawa smiles and moves away.
Bennett closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ogawa circles away.
Whack! Bennett lands a heavy head kick that drops Ogawa. The ref tackles Bennett to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ogawa was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Mike Bennett!
