Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Corey Haim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsunori Kikuno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haim comes to the cage accompanied by Black And Yellow. Katsunori Kikuno has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Haim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Katsunori Kikuno!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haim avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Haim shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kikuno's guard.
Haim trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Haim wants to control from the top but Kikuno keeps moving.
Haim thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Haim pushes down on Kikuno's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haim takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Haim works his foot free and advances to mount.
Haim with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Haim moves to back control.
Haim has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kikuno fending off the submission attempt from Haim.
Haim is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Kikuno defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kikuno is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Haim off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Haim is cranking Kikuno's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Kikuno! He's tightened the choke and Kikuno is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Corey Haim!
