The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furlong shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Leroy as he avoids it easily.
Furlong closes this distance looking for a takedown but Leroy circles away.
Leroy is looking to clinch.
Furlong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Leroy pinned against the cage. Leroy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Furlong. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Furlong is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Leroy knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Leroy for a finish.
