Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dog Catcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane The Pain Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Pain Killer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Combat Baby. Dog Catcher has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dog Catcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane The Pain Killer!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Pain Killer tries to clinch but Catcher is having none of it.
The Pain Killer fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The Pain Killer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Catcher swivels and escapes.

The Pain Killer moves into range and clinches up with Catcher.
The Pain Killer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Catcher has him pressed against the cage.

The Pain Killer breaks from the clinch.
The Pain Killer moves into range and connects with a jab.
The Pain Killer doesn't manage to clinch there - Catcher circles away.

The Pain Killer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The Pain Killer throws a series of punches but Catcher avoids them all with ease.
Catcher thows a body shot but no joy.
The Pain Killer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and The Pain Killer wants it to stay on the feet.
The Pain Killer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Catcher circles away.
Dog Catcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane The Pain Killer.

and Catcher counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Catcher with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Catcher drops back, looking for a kneebar! The Pain Killer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. The Pain Killer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from The Pain Killer!

Catcher is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

The Pain Killer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
The Pain Killer throws a leg kick that misses.

and Catcher counters with a shoot takedown. The Pain Killer fights it but they end up in guard.

Catcher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Catcher controls The Pain Killer momentarily but The Pain Killer frees himself.
The Pain Killer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Catcher goes for an armbar but The Pain Killer turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from The Pain Killer.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Catcher looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The Pain Killer throws a strike but Catcher rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Catcher stands up over The Pain Killer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Catcher bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in The Pain Killer's guard.
Catcher lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Catcher postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Catcher wants to pass the guard but The Pain Killer is keeping the position.
The Pain Killer has momentary wrist control but Catcher slips an elbow through the middle.
Catcher wants to control from the top but The Pain Killer keeps moving.

Catcher drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and The Pain Killer dives on top into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Catcher manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dog Catcher dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

so Catcher counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Catcher throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as The Pain Killer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Catcher wants to control from the top but The Pain Killer keeps moving.

Catcher looks up at the clock and then as The Pain Killer takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Catcher smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Catcher is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. The Pain Killer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Catcher looks up at the clock and then as The Pain Killer takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Catcher smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Catcher is looking to take a break and control but The Pain Killer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Catcher tries to score with some ground and pound. The Pain Killer controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Catcher throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Catcher tries to advance to mount but can't.
Catcher trying to control the action but The Pain Killer is working from the bottom.

Catcher is trying to get an arm triangle but The Pain Killer is defending well.
Catcher wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Pain Killer keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The Pain Killer parries the strikes from Catcher easily there. Catcher is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable The Pain Killer to escape.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The Pain Killer fails with a takedown attempt.
The Pain Killer connects with a crisp jab.
Catcher fails to land the takedown.

Catcher lands a left and a right that send The Pain Killer crashing to the mat, dazed. Catcher thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


The Pain Killer is rocked!


It looks like Shane The Pain Killer has been cut.

Catcher scores with a takedown into The Pain Killer's guard.
The Pain Killer is still in real trouble! Can Catcher finish him?

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Catcher fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt The Pain Killer.
The Pain Killer seems to have recovered his senses.
Catcher tries to close the distance and clinch up but The Pain Killer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Catcher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Catcher connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Catcher blocks a head kick by The Pain Killer.
The Pain Killer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Catcher's waist but Catcher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Pain Killer off to one side.
The Pain Killer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Catcher digs a good body shot into The Pain Killer's ribs.

Catcher shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Catcher was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Catcher cracks The Pain Killer with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
