Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evangelista Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vance Gates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gates comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My time is now kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Dos Santos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gates bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Gates closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dos Santos did well to prevent Gates getting side control.

Gates wants to control from the top but Dos Santos keeps moving.
Gates really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dos Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gates is breathing heavily.

Gates is sitting in close to Dos Santos's body. Dos Santos has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gates is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gates is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dos Santos.
