Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom McGettigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGettigan's entrance music is Knifeman - The Bronx. A fine choice. Derick Morgan struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan slips a jab and a cross from McGettigan.
Morgan throws a low kick but it's checked well by McGettigan.
McGettigan throws a shot to the body.
McGettigan checks the leg kick nicely there.
Morgan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
McGettigan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
McGettigan lands with a big left! Morgan is wobbled badly! McGettigan comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Morgan to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
