The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conger misses with a two punch combination.

Conger shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Conger showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like Conger is going to stand back up.
Conger not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Conger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but St Peirre manages to avoid it.
Conger could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Conger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has St Peirre pinned against the cage. St Peirre gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doug Conger. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Conger gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

and St Peirre counters with a single leg into guard. Conger didn't expect that.

Conger is working an open guard so St Peirre takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and St Peirre decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Conger's guard.

Georges St Peirre comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well St Peirre has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
