Ivan tries to close the distance and clinch but Dempsey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ivan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dempsey backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ivan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Ivan swings wildly with an uppercut but Dempsey uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dempsey is trying to break the clinch but Ivan has him pressed against the cage.
Dempsey tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ivan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Dempseys head.

Ivan lands with a light punch inside.
Ivan throws a big uppercut that drops Dempsey! More strikes from Ivan and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Dempsey lies dazed against the cage as Ivan celebrates with his cornermen!
