Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Milani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oli Bobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milani comes to the cage accompanied by Armin Van Buuren-Sail. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobo blocks a head kick by Milani.
Milani gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bobo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Milani breaks from the clinch.
Mauricio Milani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Milani shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bobo but Bobo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Milani fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bobo, pushing him back against the cage.

Milani is stalling here. Bobo is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Milani seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bobo has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Milani tries to improve position but can't.
Bobo decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Bobo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Milani circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Horrible takedown by Milani or perhaps it was just good defense by Bobo which made him look bad.

Milani wants to stand and escape but instead Bobo has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Milani escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bobo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Milani had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bobo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Milani Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bobo's back instead.
Bobo trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Bobo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Milani tries to keep control of the position but Bobo is staying busy.

Bobo breaks Milani's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Milani keeping moving, preventing Bobo from controlling successfully.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Milani shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Milani throws the kick towards the body but Bobo avoids it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Milani tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bobo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Milani shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Milani here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Milani stands and steps away. Bobo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Milani counters by moving into the clinch.
Milani manages to break the clinch.
Bobo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Milani seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Milani decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Bobo tries to clinch there but Milani circles away.

Milani gets a clinch.
Milani is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bobo can't fight it off and eventually Milani manages to take the fight to the floor. Bobo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Milani gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Milani shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Milani stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bobo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Milani is working hard here to advance position.
Bobo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Milani decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bobo, up you get!

Bobo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

and Bobo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bobo turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Milani takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Bobo has an Americana. Milani didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bobo is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bobo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
