Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mauricio Shogun!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Emelianenko.
Emelianenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shogun moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shogun tries a head kick but it misses.
Emelianenko goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A head kick lands from Emelianenko that sends Shogun to the canvas. Shogun tries to scramble back to his feet but Emelianenko brings him back down into side control.
Shogun is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Emelianenko tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Emelianenko wants to stand but Shogun has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Emelianenko is looking to stand up but Shogun won't let him.
Shogun pulls Emelianenko in to control the position.
Emelianenko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Emelianenko trying to stand up but can't free himself from Shogun's guard.
Emelianenko is sitting in close to Shogun's body. Shogun has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Emelianenko is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Emelianenko is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Shogun.
